Chiba Urban Monorail

Operates a 15,2Km-long SAFEGE-type system suspended monorail in Chiba City. Opened between 1988 and 1999, the Chiba Urban Monorail is the longest suspended monorail in the world and the only one to fetaure a branchline – it is indeed a “Y”-shaped network by of the 12Km-long Line 2 and the 3,2Km-long Line 1.
